Trump appointed Dan Bongino as the new Deputy Director of the FBI. Overcoming all opposition, Trump also appointed Kash Patel as the new Director of the FBI. Kash Patel’s appointment was approved in the Senate by a narrow margin of 51-49, indicating that Democrats were not at all in agreement with his nomination.
